Normal Ambient conditions of PSA nitrogen generator for petrochemical industries

Regarding the company's inquiry to equip a complete nitrogen generator line of 200 normal cubic meters per hour with a purity of 99.99%, the following explanations are noteworthy.

Supplementary explanations:
The inlet air required for the nitrogen generator package has been calculated considering the height above ground of 1200 meters (declared by the company's process unit).

The absorption dryer intended for this package has been designed in a way that meets the needs of the company considering the climatic conditions of the project location (relative humidity up to a maximum of 90% and temperature 47 degrees Celsius).

The proposed dimensions of the compressor house and the location of the nitrogen generator should be 20 meters long, 12 meters wide, and 5.2 meters high so that the proposed system has a suitable placement.

The operating temperature of the compressor is 15 to 47 degrees Celsius according to the standard announced by the manufacturer of the compressor air handling unit.

The compressor room must be roofed, have a ventilation system and proper air circulation. Also, the desired temperature for the operation of the nitrogen generator package is between 15 and 25 degrees so that this package can have proper efficiency for producing nitrogen.

The hot air outlet of the compressor from the radiator must be directed outside through a duct so that the temperature of the compressor room does not rise.

The floor of the compressor room must be level and made of a suitable material so that it can both bear the weight of the equipment and does not reduce the compressor's performance due to the presence of a slope.

The piping must be done correctly and in accordance with the P&ID proposed by Fidar Faraz Fartak Company so as not to reduce the efficiency of the system.

Preferably, the piping material should be stainless steel so that impurities do not enter the system due to corrosion.

The piping should preferably be passed through a closed space. Also, if it passes through an external space, insulation should be considered for the pipeline.

The distance from the compressor house to the consumption line should preferably be minimized so that the system has better efficiency. If there is a long distance from the generator to the consumption line, it is better to have a technical inspection by an expert from Fidar Faraz Fartak Company to select the appropriate proposal for your situation.

The compressor house should be located in a place away from humidity and industrial pollutants so that contaminated air does not enter the system.

The PSA nitrogen generator package is very sensitive to temperature, humidity and pressure drop, and these things reduce the efficiency of the system. To prevent these things, it is better to pay attention to the things mentioned in paragraphs 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Given the sensitivity of the company's production process and the need for 99.99% purity, it is recommended that periodic services and replacement of absorbent materials be carried out before the recommended time.

The useful life of the compressed air tank is 10 years, and it is recommended that the inside and connections of the tank be inspected every two years to check the health of the tank.
